Mouse wheel issue and double clicking issue

Was tired of replacing my mouses due to double clicking issues every few years. Spending $40-$70 every 2-4 years doesn't feel right. Sometimes a mouse will start double clicking in a year!
So when I saw the features on this mouse I thought it would make sense. Swappable switches, wireless, bluetooth, super light, and design all looked amazing. Spending a premium for this should save me money on the long run was what I thought.
Both my brother and I bought this. I use it wirelessly and he uses it plugged in. In the beginning everything was great. Amazing mouse.
About 2 months later I started getting scrolling issues on the mouse wheel (Not mechanical) but everytime I scroll up or down, it will scroll the other direction randomly. A bit annoying but it didn't happen that often so I thought no biggie.
Another month and the scrolling issue becomes much more pronounced and noticeable. I would scroll down or up a page and then it would do a huge jump in the other direction. It's becoming so annoying especially when gaming when you're zooming out a map or inventory and the mouse wheel is just doing whatever it wants.
Go figure I buy a mouse that can solve the double clicking issues I always get and I end up getting one with a mouse wheel issue! I tried air dusting the mouse wheel but nothing worked. I saw a random reddit post saying to blow with your mouth as hard as you can into the mouse wheel and that surprisingly worked but the problem always comes back eventually.
So 4 months in, I tell my brother about the issue with my mouse and he said he's experiencing the exact same thing! Either we're both super unlucky or it's an ongoing issue and tech reviewers won't catch it because it occurs months later.
Now I'm month 5 into ownership and the mouse is starting to double click. I've taken it apart cleaned inside and air dusted everything even though it looked really clean and the issues still persists.
This review may just be my anecdotal experience but this was not my forever mouse...which is a shame because everything else was so good
