[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My phone microphone isn’t always great, especially from far away, and this has solved all of my problems. It plugs directly into my phone through USB C (make sure you buy the right plug for your phone) and sets up very quickly.
It comes with a charging case which protects the microphone on top of charging it. It comes with a cover to block out the wind, which has been great for filming outside, especially at the beach. I’ve used this with both my phone and my laptop, and it’s worked great with both. I have recorded myself playing piano and it sounds so much clearer than my phone mic does. I walked over 20 feet away with the microphone and the connection was still top notch. Would definitely recommend, especially for content creators.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little mic is quite handy. Being so small you can take it anywhere and get incredibly better sound than the mic on a phone. With noise cancelling and even a wind cover this thing can really get some decent quality for on the go video.
I unfortunately had a couple issues that others may encounter. First off is that the receiver does not fit in my phone port with my case on. I would like to see the port just ever so slightly longer (about 1mm). Next thing is that I was not actually able to get it to work on my sound recorder app. Any video I took the mic worked perfectly but not on an audio recorder. This may just be my phone but something to be aware of. Lastly I would have liked to have a way for the wind cover to actually fit in the case with the rest of the items. Without this I can see this item being lost forgotten easily.
Other than these few small quirks I really enjoyed the mic. Not once did I have trouble connecting, not once did I have trouble changing settings. The mic just works and produces decent quality audio.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try out the JBL wireless mic for two main reasons: music recording on the go and vlogging. Initially, I had the idea of clipping it onto my acoustic or classical guitar's soundhole for quick on-the-road recording to potentially enhance the music compared to my phone's onboard mic. Unfortunately, it didn't work well for that purpose. While there might be options to adjust gain settings on certain phone apps, the mic came across too hot and distorted, making it unsuitable for this idea.
On the other hand, I've been struggling with simple mic setups for vlogging and similar recordings. I envisioned using it for vlogging in my office for music or faith-based topics, and even exploring my passion for cooking. For these purposes, the mic is fantastic as it effectively eliminates background noise, providing clear voice capture without any distractions. Its sleek design is non-obtrusive and it enhances the overall experience. Depending on the application, this mic can be a great fit. I look forward to using it for more vlogging adventures, as it enables me to be more mobile without compromising on quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am rather new to using microphones outside of running live sound for a band. I have never used one on a portable device and I must say, this microphone is awesome. The recordings are super clean and crisp. The actual microphone is incredibly small and light. It comes in a portable case that charges it and also holds the phone adapter. The case is a little larger than an earbuds case but not so much larger that you couldn't put it in your pocket. I think where this device really stands out is the level of control you have over it in the app. One other really important thing to point out is that the microphone is a lot smaller than other wireless microphones in this genre. It's not boxy or square. It has a really nice shape that doesn't look silly or get in the way.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the wireless quantum stream is great! I think to record with out holding and the sound is clear even in windy weather. I also love how I can mute myself and the led shows if I'm unmute or not. Quality is good and it's perfect to use for streamers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this ironically I was searching online for a while for a Bluetooth microphone for my job. I record memorial services for veterans who have passed away. I will use this with the 4K 60fps video on my Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max. I have been using it for a little while and it’s great! The app adds some features and functionality as well. Definitely worth it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I am not really a content creator, this device and the idea behind it make me want to become one! I like this thing so much I want to figure out how to use it for everyday use, not just content and streaming creation. The thought behind is it slick, and the execution is sweet. The idea just makes sense and will really enable better sound, better audio and better content for those that choose to use it. The overall package is so well done, how it fits into sleek charger, how it all integrates, how easy it works. I love that it comes with a wind diffuser for the mic as well, but that would also be related to my one complaint - I wish there was space in the charger/holder for the diffuser as well. Overall I think this would make a really great addition to content creators and no one would regret purchasing it and using it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've recently had the opportunity to use the Quantum Stream Wireless USB-C microphone, and it's been an absolute revelation for my content creation journey. Similar to my past experiences with JBL products, this device stands out for its design, functionality, and overall quality.
Design and Comfort: Just like the sleek and comfortable JBL earphones I've cherished, the Quantum Stream microphone boasts a lightweight and unobtrusive design. Its clip-on feature is so convenient and secure that I often forget it's there, allowing me to move freely and focus on creating engaging content.
Functionality: The omnidirectional pattern of the microphone is a game-changer, capturing high-quality sound from every direction. This has been particularly useful for spontaneous interviews and live streaming, ensuring that my recordings are always clear and professional. The adjustable environmental noise cancelling is akin to the clarity provided by the 4-mic technology in JBL's earphones, ensuring my voice is always front and center, without background distractions.
Ease of Use: The touch controls on my previous JBL product impressed me, and the Quantum Stream's easy-to-use interface is no exception. The mute button with an LED indicator is intuitive, making it simple to know when I'm live. This, combined with the convenience of wireless connectivity and the adjustable mic gain, allows me to optimize my recordings in any setting effortlessly.
Sound Quality and Battery Life: As expected from a JBL device, the sound quality is exceptional. Whether recording in windy conditions with the included furry windshield or in a quiet room, the audio is always crisp and clear. The battery life is impressive, providing up to 6 hours of recording time with ENC on, and even more with it off, ensuring I'm always ready to capture content. The charging case, reminiscent of the one that comes with JBL's earphones, offers additional charges, making it perfect for long days out.
Material and Build: The premium quality I've come to associate with JBL products is evident in the Quantum Stream microphone. Its durable build and high-quality materials, including the comfortable clip-on mechanism, ensure it can withstand the rigors of daily use, much like the silicon ear tips of JBL's earphones that offer amazing comfort.
Conclusion: The Quantum Stream Wireless USB-C microphone is a standout product for anyone serious about producing high-quality audio content on the go. Its blend of style, functionality, and durability makes it an essential tool in my content creation arsenal. Once again, JBL has delivered a product that is not just worth buying but loving for its reliable performance and ease of use.
