This drive does not stay connected at all. Try to transfer even the smallest file and it gets knocked out. The problem is the USB-C cables are not capable of supporting this drive. If you tack on another $40 and buy a high power cable it works fine. But for the price they are charging a high power cable should be included. Without it’s a cheap drive worth no more than $200.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
