[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've recently had the opportunity to use the Quantum Stream Wireless USB-C microphone, and it's been an absolute revelation for my content creation journey. Similar to my past experiences with JBL products, this device stands out for its design, functionality, and overall quality.
Design and Comfort: Just like the sleek and comfortable JBL earphones I've cherished, the Quantum Stream microphone boasts a lightweight and unobtrusive design. Its clip-on feature is so convenient and secure that I often forget it's there, allowing me to move freely and focus on creating engaging content.
Functionality: The omnidirectional pattern of the microphone is a game-changer, capturing high-quality sound from every direction. This has been particularly useful for spontaneous interviews and live streaming, ensuring that my recordings are always clear and professional. The adjustable environmental noise cancelling is akin to the clarity provided by the 4-mic technology in JBL's earphones, ensuring my voice is always front and center, without background distractions.
Ease of Use: The touch controls on my previous JBL product impressed me, and the Quantum Stream's easy-to-use interface is no exception. The mute button with an LED indicator is intuitive, making it simple to know when I'm live. This, combined with the convenience of wireless connectivity and the adjustable mic gain, allows me to optimize my recordings in any setting effortlessly.
Sound Quality and Battery Life: As expected from a JBL device, the sound quality is exceptional. Whether recording in windy conditions with the included furry windshield or in a quiet room, the audio is always crisp and clear. The battery life is impressive, providing up to 6 hours of recording time with ENC on, and even more with it off, ensuring I'm always ready to capture content. The charging case, reminiscent of the one that comes with JBL's earphones, offers additional charges, making it perfect for long days out.
Material and Build: The premium quality I've come to associate with JBL products is evident in the Quantum Stream microphone. Its durable build and high-quality materials, including the comfortable clip-on mechanism, ensure it can withstand the rigors of daily use, much like the silicon ear tips of JBL's earphones that offer amazing comfort.
Conclusion: The Quantum Stream Wireless USB-C microphone is a standout product for anyone serious about producing high-quality audio content on the go. Its blend of style, functionality, and durability makes it an essential tool in my content creation arsenal. Once again, JBL has delivered a product that is not just worth buying but loving for its reliable performance and ease of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this ironically I was searching online for a while for a Bluetooth microphone for my job. I record memorial services for veterans who have passed away. I will use this with the 4K 60fps video on my Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max. I have been using it for a little while and it’s great! The app adds some features and functionality as well. Definitely worth it!

Great for vlogging!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try out the JBL wireless mic for two main reasons: music recording on the go and vlogging. Initially, I had the idea of clipping it onto my acoustic or classical guitar's soundhole for quick on-the-road recording to potentially enhance the music compared to my phone's onboard mic. Unfortunately, it didn't work well for that purpose. While there might be options to adjust gain settings on certain phone apps, the mic came across too hot and distorted, making it unsuitable for this idea.
On the other hand, I've been struggling with simple mic setups for vlogging and similar recordings. I envisioned using it for vlogging in my office for music or faith-based topics, and even exploring my passion for cooking. For these purposes, the mic is fantastic as it effectively eliminates background noise, providing clear voice capture without any distractions. Its sleek design is non-obtrusive and it enhances the overall experience. Depending on the application, this mic can be a great fit. I look forward to using it for more vlogging adventures, as it enables me to be more mobile without compromising on quality.

Easy-To-Use Mic With Great Sound Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initial Thoughts:
Straight out of the box, this microphone was pretty intuitive to use. Just download the app and plug in the dongle. From there, JBL guides you through the pairing process and then you can start making adjustments on the app.
The device itself is pretty sleek, and slipping the dongle and the mic into the charging case is satisfying as well.
Sound and Experience:
JBL has done well to provide a customizeable experience through the use of their app, which I enjoy. (The more JBL products you have, the more its worth keeping the app downloaded on your phone...)
Its nice to be able to adjust the sound quality (the gain and ENC) depending on what environment you are in. If your outside or in the car, you can adjust these until your happy with the clarity of your voice.
I've played with 3 different settings on the app that alter the sound of you voice, "Natural", "Powerful", and "Bright". So far I keep it on Natural as I havent personally noticed much diff we rence when its on Powerful and I dont like the way it sounds on bright.
The wind muff is one of my favorite feature about this mic. It can be taken on and off pretty easily, although putting it on took me a minute at first because it can be hard to grab, and the quality of sound does increase.
I went for a ride in my car, which has an old, lifted, and stiff suspension and a loud muffler. With the noise canceling on high (in the app) and the wind muff on, you could barely hear anything from the car except for a little bit when I accelerated which I thought was really impressive.
Battery:
The battery life on this mic is pretty good. I charged it up all the way and have only charged it up once since then after using it off and on for a week. I like how it automatically turns of after 30 minutes, although Id like to have an option to turn it off after 15 minutes to save even more battery.
Overall:
This mic is great for me as someone who sometimes needs to record themself. Its not hard to use and the quality of sound has impressed me. I know theres better on the market, but I dont need studio quality sound when I'm on a hike or in the car recording myself, I just need crisp and quality sound that people notice when they hear it and I get that with this.
I will say that with a loose shirt, the mic does sometimes thud against my chest if I star jogging, so I have to find a place to secure it better like clipped to a shirt pocket. I've never had the mic fall off my shirt so the clip is pretty stable.
If you're getting into vlogging, streaming, hosting a podcast, or just want to record your thoughts, I think this mic is a great choice.

Great wireless microphone for streaming!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Quantum Stream microphone system utilizes usb-c for its connection. The system includes a charging case which resembles one for a set of headphones from JBL. A wireless receiver which connects to a computer, tablet, or phone via usb-c is also in the charging case along with the clip on microphone. First I want to mention that I tested this microphone setup to my current setup I use for streaming and recording videos in a large area. I have a few wireless clip on mics used by my clients for when they do their theater work. The problem with them is they don’t have greatest range and don’t have the greatest sound quality. If there is allot of ambient noise in the area, those mics pic it up also. Battery life is ok I guess since we don’t use them for more than an hour at a time. After using them for 2-3 days for around an hour the battery goes down to about twenty percent. I guess they would last only 4 hours if using them continuously. Now as mentioned before, the JBL Quantum Stream includes a mic, receiver and charging case which in total gives 24 hours of usage time. I like how you put the mic and dongle both in the case after use. The only issue is if you have the windshield connected you can’t close the case. It will still charge but you can’t close the case. Upon taking the mic out of the case you see a white light flash. Once you connect the dongle to a usb-c device it connects instantly. I was very impressed the first time I used the device. Very well built and feels very solid. It has a premium feel to it. I used it for a few days for over an hour at a time. After about 4 days I still had more than 50 percent charge left and that was using the noise canceling feature. The mic sounds very focused but you can hear directional sounds very clearly. If you use the JBL headphone app you can adjust the noise canceling and also the gain of the microphone. I left the noise canceling feature on seeing there there is allot usually going on around me and the environment gets very noisy. I also like having a button to mute the mic at certain times. Having the case gives the benefit of keeping the mic and the dongle together. It also charges the microphone when it’s inserted into the case. Having it in the case for 15 minutes gives you an hour of usage. JBL claims you can get 6 continuous hours of continuous usage and a total of 24 hours when you use the already charged case. That is allot more than I’m used to getting with my other mics. After the case dies you can charge it back up with the included usb-c cable. You can charge the device and still use it at the same time. I tested the distance you can travel from the receiver to see how far it would reach. My property is 100’x200’ and is very open without allot of obstructions. I stayed connected while walking the perimeter of the property while leaving the receiver in a central location. The mic has an advertised range of 100 meters on 2.4ghz frequency. This is way better than the range of the mics I typically use. This mic has very low latency. In the end, the JBL Quantum Stream wireless mic is my new favorite microphone for streaming and recording. Having environmental noise canceling is a huge plus as well as an adjustable gain. Being able to roam around without the fear of losing a connection or experiencing latency issues is another plus. Battery life is amazing allowing me to use this unit for days without having to charge the entire setup. It’s super easy to wear by just clipping it on and muting is as simple as pressing the button on the mic. My only issue is the fur windshield. It works flawlessly but took some time to install it. I also have an issue with not being able to leave it on and being able to close the case. If I take it off I feel I will lose it but for the most part I won’t be taking it off. Which means I may never close the case then. This microphone is perfect for anyone that does any sort of video streaming or theater work and even some basic recording. It’s just perfect for all of it. I mainly use this mic with my phone. The JBL Quantum Stream Wireless is an amazing product!
