HP Designjet T3500 is the worst machine ever built

I'll be returning this printhead as we have decided that the Designjet T3500 is such a piece of trash that we will not be fixing it. Rather, we'll be throwing the printer in the garbage!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't know if it works because it was replaced as instructed by the printer diagnostics... only to have the same instruction given after installing the new print head. Printer still not usable.

The printhead we received wasted a lot of ink, leaking it inside the plotter, on the floor, and all over me. It was a mess to clean up. Had a service technician from a local repro company come out and determined it was defective, and he replaced it for us with a working printhead.

Installing a new printhead will result in losing half of your ink. I made the mistake of installing a new print head with one of my ink cartridges low (below 20%) and that caused the install process to start over at around 60% completion. I would estimate that I lost about 50% of all ink cartridges because of this.
