Made it work until it broke. Twice.

First, soon after buying it, one of the bolts that hold an arm in place shorn off due to play in the connection. I got a new bolt and had to shim both sides using tape. A couple years later of semi regular use, the connection between the piston and frame suddenly snapped while using it. Not worth trying to fix again. That should never happen. This thing is garbage, don't buy it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To start, there's just nothing out there for the money that does what this does. I feel it gives a reasonable workout for the money. I only have a couple of issues: 1) The catch 'happens' by the ankles, versus beyond, making it more difficult/impossible to attain 'perfect' form. A a consequently the legs seem to get a lesser work-out. 2) the 'weight' on the cylinder does not remain consistent once it gets warm. It will start hard, but seems to soften up.

I searched for a rowing machine on the Web. I found this one and checked the reviews. I liked what I saw and ordered it. It arrived in a very reasonable amount of time and in good order. The instructions for assembly were clear and the machine went together without difficulty. I have used the row machine enough to see that it is sturdy and performs to my great satisfaction. I needed a replacement for a handlebar tip and it was not quickly received but I could use the machine without it. Customer service was good and pleasant.

Very, Very Disappointed! I bought this product for myself for my birthday and it came with parts missing and screw holes stripped so, i can't put it together. And the company want us to order replacement parts; nevertheless, I'm suppose to order part for the whole machine. Its seem to be a regular problem with Stamina because it special form for missing and/or damage!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap and effective!

I bought this on Amazon and it was the only unit between 100 and 200 dollars that had a four-star review. I had intended on spending a little more but after reading the reviews decided to get this instead, and it was worth saving the money. The unit was simple to assemble and works well, at least after two weeks of use. And the adjustable tension on it makes work-outs easy to tune for different people.

I got it about a month ago. It required some assembly, but wasn't very difficult or time-consuming. It has a good range of motion and the adjustable tension on the arms is great. My one complaint is the foot straps. My feet come out even when I have on shoes and strap them down really tight. I have to concentrate on keeping my feet flat against the footrest to make sure my feet don't slide out.
