I really do not like to shovel snow, but now that i own the Snow Joe it is so much better on my back No more strain on my back and it is kinda fun to throw the snow when i use this shovel it is by far the best ! I have bought a shovel once a year only to break and I had to throw away from it breaking not any more I have my shovel three years and it is as good as new so i got another one for my back door ! I can say for sure you cant go wrong if you get this shovel it is a great shovel !

It works great. The best technique I've found is to push it with one arm underhanded from the main grip to gather the snow, then grab the spring loaded handle with the other hand to throw the snow. It is definitely a back-saver.

I went out to our first snowfall since purchasing the shovel not sure what to expect. I am 5 ft tall and over 60. I was so pleased that the extra handle really did make a difference. NO bending! Made it so much easier to clear areas. I also just purchased the Snow Joe ion shovel. I was happy with that but some of the snow was not as easy to move since it was slushy. The shovel with the handle was a great help
