Bought new on eBay, unit arrived with mechanical issues.
Stamina customer service got involved and had another machine sent out in the next day or two. Otherworldly customer service - they called and emailed me to keep me up to date on what was where. New machine arrived soon thereafter.

The machine is solidly built - feels like (is not, nor meant to be) commercial grade equipment. The chain is as thick as your thumb, so it's not likely to be an issue. Paint is powder-coat, not sprayed on, machine is very good looking.
The machine is easy to use, and just what I wanted and needed to get back to a regular fitness routine at a reasonable price. The pull and motion of the fan and seat give me plenty of resistance and exercise. I am not expecting the performance of something 2x the price. This gives me all I give it, it doesn't flinch, and that's what I wanted.
I don't expect a professional-grade row or pull from this machine.
This machine is meant for, and squarely hits the budget consumer who expects higher quality at a slightly higher but reasonable price.

Happy with the machine, must echo sentiment of others that the seat is uncomfortable for a long rowing session. The pull bar is nicely padded, no gloves needed. I do wish the pull-bag was a bit longer.

I bought this about a month ago. When I first assembled it, the mainframe was broken. I called customer service and they immediately sent out a new mainframe. I was frustrated by the initial delay but they responded quickly and now it works very well. I love the addition to my home crossfit box.

Fast shipping but the first machine we received was defective. The chain kept falling off the wheel. We called Stamina and almost no questions asked they sent us a new one. Fast shipping again. New one works great. No problems so far. Easy to assemble and transport.

After using this rower for a few weeks now. I can honestly say that it's a solid piece of fitness equipment. It provides a great workout!
My only negative would be the seat. After rowing for a little while it causes chaffing on my upper buttocks. (Haven't found a solution to this yet)
