I purchased this a month ago and it is a sturdy machine, similar to those you find in the local gym. It was easy to assemble, heavy duty and gives a great full body workout at a great value. Customer service was great, ours didn't have a control panel and the mailed one out the next day! Great company, great product.

This rower is a great home workout. couple issues I would have like to know before buying. the monitor: is a little tough to read, it is in miles not meters (not to hard to do the conversion), the data doesn't seem correct (ie-a 30 calorie row is nowhere near the same as on a C2). I can row a set distance a lot faster on this machine than on a C2??? all in all, great machine for a circuit workout or rowing for a set time, but not good for comparing to others rowing on different machines. It is very sturdy and well made, just wish the catch position was a little further away from the foot rests.

It’s an ok rower.
The seat is stiff an uncomfortable, had to buy an extra pad to make it comfortable. There is no adjustment for tension/resistance. And the handle home position is too close to the fan, wish the rail was longer

Thank you for your feedback. Please keep in mind that the tension on the 35-1412 ATS Air Rower changes as you change the intensity at which you row. The more air being pushed through the fan the more resistance you will have. I have used the expensive Concept 2 at a gym & loved it. This stamina is a close 2nd and much more reasonable in cost. Sturdy, and well made. Seems slightly shorter, but fits in my house better! Must carefully follow the illustrated directions when assembling. I do miss the variety of items showing things like watts, variety of workouts, etc. but the time, distance & calories are readable. Cannot adjust the resistance on the wheel, but wind resistance determines your workout. I am super pleased to have this rower for home use.

There’s only one level for this rower. HARD. I can do 20 min on the rower at the gym and walk away feeling it in my abs and legs and arms. On this one I couldn’t do more than 5 and only felt exhausted- not a good workout. The foot pedals are a poor design as well- the straps don’t go high enough for smaller feet (size 8 women’s) and they don’t rotate forward- so your foot has to be flexed up towards your calf when you pull forward which causes extra stress on your shins

I've only had the rower for about a month now, but overall I'm pleased. I've been using it for about 25-30 minutes a day, 4 or 5 days per week since I got it. The assembly wasn't too bad at all, but the original fitness meter/monitor did not work. I called Stamina and they immediately shipped a new one under warranty, and the new one works fine. I'd like to give this unit 5 stars, but I just can't. I don't mind not being able to adjust the tension because I knew this when I bought it, plus it still gives me an excellent workout without the need to adjust the tension. But the seat??? In my opinion, it's way too small for an average size adult. I'm 6' tall, 225 lbs. And the seat looks like it would be about the right size for a teenage girl. After reading many, many reviews, I decided to buy this unit - especially since the description said that the seat was good for extra long workouts. Sorry, but I must disagree. I ended up putting a pad on the seat and it helps. I simply took one of the square pads I have that I normally use to sit on in the bleachers during sporting events and it feels much better. If the seat was bigger / more comfortable, I would have given this unit 5 stars without a doubt. But as I said, overall I'm pleased. Now we'll just have to see if it can stand the test of time, as I normally work out 4-5 times per week in my home gym.
