Good aerobic workout, low impact, very quiet, and easy to master. Easy to assemble and use. Need to wipe the seat roller track down prior to each use on back porch, to remove any particles that may obstruct seat from rolling smoothly. Flips up out of the way when not in use. Need 120V outlet to power the computer. Well made unit.

I've had this machine for only a few weeks so I cannot attest to its long-term durability but what I've seen so far is very positive. Assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow (the only exception being a little difficulty fitting the cup holder, of all things). The kit includes all the necessary hardware, tools and accessories. It took me a little over an hour to put the machine together. As advertised, the machine has multiple settings to measure a workout but if you don't want to fiddle with them, it is already programmed to display the basics -- distance, calories, time, strokes and so forth. The machine is comfortable to use, almost deceptively so as I overdid it the first time out. Some years back, I had inherited a high-end brand (i.e., very expensive) rowing machine, which I eventually sold. The Stamina 1130 works just as well, is lighter, takes up a lot less space, and comes at a very reasonable price. In sum, I'm very pleased with this purchase and look forward to using the machine for a long time to come. And one more thing: I contacted Stamina about an issue (turns out I had overlooked something, so it was my bad); Customer Service answered my call immediately and promptly took action to resolve the issue.

Excellent machine at a decent price. I foresee getting a more advanced machine in the future, a fire has been lit in me with the efficiency of rowing as a total body workout. Haven’t skipped a day since I got it! I can feel a difference in the results of my workouts.

I'm giving the rowing machine a 3 star rating because it did not function fully after assembly, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. After assembly, the stroke counter function did not work. I found that the magnetic control cable was defective and had to be replaced.
