Just not the range of reception that i was expecting. I still have it and it sits by my bed i just don't turn it on that much,

I love this radio! Incredibly this small radio gives a clear whole house sound. It has a sensitive dial that picks up weak stations clearly with it's small antenna. I have it in the kitchen and can hear it clearly all the way in the downstairs bedroom. Highly recommended. You will love it.

For me, the Model One sounds great. I primarily listen to classical with it, and I can't believe how crisp is the range from the upper scales to the bass. It gives me outstanding reception. Whenever I turn it off I say, "thank you, radio".

I was skeptical about this little radio. How could this small radio....smaller than a loaf of bread........crank-out any sound worth listening to? I was sooooo wrong. WOW.........the Tivoli is one awesome radio. High range, low range, treble, base........the Tivoli handles any kind of music effortlessly. Very easy to use; set-up is easy. This radio outperforms so many of the radios, boomboxes etc. that I bought over so many years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does not stay in tune

It worked until one day it stopped holding stations. We can set it to a station with great reception and clarity and they it will start to fade (and the little lights will fade above the off dial) and we will have to fiddle with the tuning over and over again. We called Tivoli and they informed us that the grease on the tuner may have settled and that we should turn off the radio and turn the tuning dial back and forth many times to spread the grease out again. This did not work and we have a wonky radio. I wish they had just used a digital tuner; it does look nice.

I have tried many radios in my kitchen, where the reception is poor. The Tivoli works great! Clear reception! Don't need the extra antenna even.
