I bought this radio for Christmas. I had heard many great things about this radio in the past, so I decided to give it a try. So far it's been a very nice experience. I like the simplicity of this radio and it produces great sound.

I had a model one previously that I gave to my kids. Got a hd radio that had digital tuning, and little tiny buttons. It was alright, but not compared to this new Tivoli. Sound is better and a real wood cabinet makes this my choice for a table radio. Love the manual dials and analog tuning. Going digital is ok for some things, but not a real radio.

Wanted to do this review after this purchase had been opened as a birthday gift by a dear friend. He did so and kept saying "it is so beautiful" - and then he plugged it in and heard the well-received sound. We both remarked how we thought good design was gone - and this radio proved us wrong. He really loves this radio!
