Room filling sound, great build quality

Bought this in 2009 and still have it in 2022. The tuner is analog and is extremely sensitive, so takes some patience to dial in. Sound quality is remarkable and warm. The volume this can go up to, considering the size of the radio, is huge. Cabinet is made from wood and the components are top notch; no loose parts after several around the world moves over the last ten plus years. The aux line is is nice if you want to tie in a Bluetooth receiver to bring it up to modern times. Awesome radio.

Needed a radio for home office space. My father, a stereophile, had this playing one day when I visited. Great sound. So much better than the wireless portable speaker I thought was good. Luckily I enjoy local classical music, and I tried this. Never looked back. Considering I've worked for two years from home and never had a problem, I think this is a great value. The antenna wire can be moved if conditions change but I rarely need to. Highly recommend. I would get one for bathroom but counter space won't allow.

About 10 years ago, I purchased this radio and liked it except for a tendency for the tuning mechanism to drift off my favorite station. I discovered that this problem can be improved by repeatedly rotating the tuning dial right and left.I have since placed the radio in my studio and recently ordered a second one to use in the kitchen. I am delighted to report that the present model seems to have corrected my complaint and it's value is now significantly better.

Great sound but no Bluetooth

We purchased this radio because of the great reviews and it has a great sound. The only one feature that I wish it had would be Bluetooth, but it’s a great sounding radio by itself.

No AM reception

The FM reception is A+. It is clear and stereo quality. There was no AM reception.
