It does not come with a Bluetooth function as described.... sad

I have had the Model One for now 16 years. It plays as well and looks as beautiful as the day I unboxed it. It is one of my treasures. The black onyx look case has been kept pristine. A piece of furniture. From the single speaker comes a solid calming base. Clear mids and treble. Wow. The controls. Tight yet ultra smooth. Tuning into channels just fall into place as you turn the dial. Folks, it doesn't get any better than this. I love my Tivoli.

A good radio for an area with poor reception.

This is the best radio I have tried. "But" There is a way to hook up an external AM antenna but no hook up for an external FM antenna. It comes with an external FM antenna which works well but our reception is so poor where I live I would have liked this option.

SURPRISINGLY WARM SOUND

Bought a Model 1 for my home office. The sound is unbelievably warm and full. As a child back in the 1960s, my grandparents had a wood cabinet tube stereo record player/radio with the most beautiful full sound. Polka music on Sunday mornings was heaven. While a whole lot smaller, this radio’s wood cabinet and marvelous sound bring me right back to Grandma and Grandpa’s house in 1963. I could not be happier.

I had an old Tivoli model but the clock battery compartment became corroded so I ordered this one. I love that it is white because it will fit in any decor and it does not have a clock so I don't have to worry about the same problem. Also, the old antenna was a wire you ran up the wall. This one is a rod that collapses and hides in the back.

If you want to use a smart switch to turn your radio on and off, buy one.

A high-quality radio with analog tuning and analog volume control, unlike most radios today. This means that if you plug the power cord into a home automation power outlet, it will remember the station and the volume when you turn its power on using a smart switch. With digital radios, they generally lose their settings when they lose power.
