Great trigger control no complaints about the battery in the early going. Highly recommend.

I got this couple weeks ago and it's first weedwhacker I've had for a long time I really needed one and it works very well. But I'm especially impressed with the blower. It can blow wet leaves off of tall grass which is something even my push gasoline blower could not do. Very very impressed.

I have 80volt versions of the mower, 18” chainsaw, and more recently the 16” string trimer and leaf blower. They are built well and have the power for any task I have put them thru. I was especially impressed by the power of the blower.

I have used the combo for over a month, now. I am so pleased with my purchase. Having used gas all my life, going to electric was pretty easy. The power of these guys is amazing. The instant on, no fumes and much lower decibels are a winning combination. Lighter weight also a plus. The battery charges really fast, about 30 minutes. I'm guessing I get about 45 minutes out of the trimmer running it medium to low speed. The battery will get warm if you run it that long, and requires a cool down before it will accept a recharge. If you have that much yard, a second battery is a good idea. Almost forgot the blower, it's great also. I highly recommend these tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer makes trimming so much easier, quieter, and efficient. I can stop & restart frequently. No need for ear protection. Can slow down rotation around sensitive plants. Easy to reload. Best trimmer I have owned!
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe, Effective

Great trimmer except the bump feed is terrible

Ive had mine for 2 summers now, I love everything about it except the bump feed. Its a double line bump feed but it doesnt have a separator between the two lines so they get tangled ALL.THE.TIME. I've re run the feed pretty much every use and no matter how I spool the thing, its always getting jammed. Greenworks has double line bump feeds with separators and oddly doesnt have one for this model - so I'd actually urge you guys to not get this one and to check for models that have accessory replacements.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you’ve enjoyed the performance of the unit over the past two summers, though we’re sorry to hear the bump feed has been a source of frustration.
One benefit of this particular bump head design is its ease of reloading, especially compared to units that require replaceable spools. While we understand that line tangling can be an issue in certain cases, many users find the straightforward reload process to be a convenient feature.
We appreciate your honest feedback and want you to know it’s been shared with our product development team as we continue working to improve future designs. If you'd like help with spooling tips feel free to reach out to us directly at 1-888-909-6757 or via chat on our website—we’re happy to assist.
Thanks again for being a Greenworks customer.

The combo pack is great value and was an easy way to get into the 80 volt system. I find the blower to be faultless and powerful, while the trimmer is powerful it is utterly frustrating.
The string advance mechanism on the trimmer is finicky and prone to sticking. Dirt gets into it and the advance button wedges into the head and no string advances. To reset the mechanism, I have to take the string spool apart and unwedge the button. This happens roughly every fifth string advance. I am finding it to be a major annoyance. I really wish this was designed better. Maybe the model that accepts attachments is of a better design. Unfortunately for me I think this trimmer is built to last and I will be waiting and enduring frustration for a long time before I have to replace it. Which btw I see no way to replace the cutting mechanism. So this is not the most versatile or repairable model.
Greenworks, is there a fix or so you have advice regarding this?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
