Can’t Get Enough Greenworks Tools

This string trimmer was the first Greenworks tool I purchased over a couple of years ago. I was so pleased with its service that I have since purchased a chainsaw, leaf blower, hedge trimmer and tiller. All tools work seamlessly with the same batteries. So wonderful to have things that are always ready to go. No problems with stale gas or gummed up carburetors. Whole lot lighter than gas counterparts as well.

Battery was STUCK in trimmer after first use. Horrible design. I have 3 other greenworks tools including a different trimmer and this is simply an expensive FAIL.
Pros: Environmentally Safe
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear of your experience with the battery. To remove the battery from the trimmer, you will locate the release button near the battery compartment and press and hold the button down. This will eject the battery from the lock position, and you can remove it from the unit.

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super great trimmer! I love how easy it was to set up and no need for gas and oil. It is also very quiet and does a great job. It feels cheaply made, everything is a heavy plastic except the metal alloy shaft. It comes with a strap to help with the weight, which is nice because the battery is solid 10-15 lbs and acts as a counterweight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we have been cutting wet weeds with this string trimmer. It is doing a much better job than I expected and my gas weed eater will be kept only as a backup. This has so much power and the run time with even the smaller battery is pretty decent. I'll be investing in some larger ah batteries soon to extend run time. Great product.
