Need something other than suburban lawn equipment.

So far, so good. Unlike most gardeners, I am working a 20-acre small ranch. My weed-eating duties are around a zillion trees, veggie boxes, under livestock fences, etc., beyond the lawn mower requirement of suburban homes. It is working!!! And, I got a blower to finish up. Just wish my blower had a vacuum feature to handle loads of thick, heavy oak leaves.

Hard to believe that a battery powered string trimmer and leaf blower could be so powerful but the Greenworks tag team is it !!!!! Love them and looking forward to some of the other products such as the hedge trimmer and cultivator to make my yard work more simple.......

80v Trimmer - ran longer than me, but no trigger lock

I had a 4 AH battery from our lawn mower charged and ready to go, so put the trimmer together and put it to work. I was a little dismayed that after 1 hour on 14" setting and lower speed the trimmer was still going strong, and I was getting tired. I increased the speed to setting '2', hoping to run the battery down. At 1.5 hours the trimmer was still going, and I had to put it away.
My biggest complaint is I could not find a trigger lock setting. I definitely would like to have been able to relax the trigger grip - that is the primary reason I had to give up.

I purchased the combo blower/trimmer about a month ago. It replaced a gas powered blower/trimmer. I am amazed at the additional power and features of these units that make it a breeze to blow and trim. Much better than gas powered units I replaced.
