Good craftsmanship, however, the length is not adjustable and it is very heavy. Holding it up to cut a limb is near impossible. Would like to be able to remove center section to make it more manageable.

I have found the pole saw tiresome to use because it is not well balanced.

Hello anonymous,
We are sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with this unit due to the weight. With the 2.0AH battery installed, this unit weighs 12.8 lbs (5.8 kg) in total. As each users capabilities differ, the strap helps even out the weight. Hold unit firmly with both hands. Always keep your left hand on the pole shaft and your right hand on the rear handle, so your body is to the left of the chain line. Never use a left-handed (cross-handed) grip, or any stance that places your body or arm across the chain line. We hope these tips will help, if they do not please kindly contact us at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or by email on info@greenworkstools.com for further assistance.

Just received my 80V 10" pole saw today. I cut around 40 2" to 4" branches off of my 70 year old pine trees. This thing works great. I'm 55 years old and after 40 branches I needed to take a break so I popped out the 2.5ah battery and stuck it in my 16" chain saw that I also received today and cut a ton of brush. I then took the battery out of the saw and put it in the string trimmer that I received yesterday and trimmed up my back yard for about a half hour. I still had one bar left on the battery after using all three tools.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy the equipment I purchased. The chain saw part of this buy is not as sturdy as I hoped. The chain will often fall off of the bar even when using it lightly.

Hello Mike Shiflett.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with the chain not staying on. New chains tend to stretch; so be sure to check the chain tension frequently and tension as required. However, be sure to never tension a warm chain before storing as chains shrink when cooling and this can damage the chain, bar, and saw. Please ensure that when you remove the side cover that the following parts are there and in order: sprocket (chain wheel), chain wheel washer and finally the c-lip. These parts are imperative when it comes to keeping the chain on. Please note that this product carries a 4-year warranty on the tool and battery from the date of purchase. Wearable parts carry a 90-day warranty against wear and tear. If you notice any of these parts missing or you are still experiencing issues we recommend you to contact with us by Chat on www.greenworkstools.com or by phone at 1-855-345-3934. We would like the opportunity to help you better.
