I have no prior experience with an edger and have a lawn that was in real need of one. So, it was difficult to line up the tool without hitting the drive or path and generating a lot of sparks. The toll also requires you to lean over so it’s not ergonomic or comfortable to use. Again, if you know what you’re doing maybe it’s easier!
It certainly has cutting power and spins up fast, so hopefully I’ll figure it out in time!

I purchased the 80V Cordless 8" brushless edger to go with my other Greenworks 80V lawn care items (mower, trimmer, and leaf blower). The edger has more power than expected, performs flawlessly and is easy to use, clean and store. I use it to edge our front and side yards along the sidewalk and curb and it does the job perfectly.
The quality and performance of all of the Greenworks products I have purchased have far exceeded my expectations. The Quality is exceptional, battery life is incredible and performance is as good if not better than any gas powered equipment I've owned in the past without the mess, maintenance and noise that comes with gas equipment.
