Great Scale. Worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after my cheap Amazon scale broke. I make a lot of bread and wanted something reliable. I like that the buttons are digital so no flour etc can get stuck inside. Life the charger and wide base that easily will fit large bowls. Very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery/charging system has a very short life

Ive had this scale for 7 months and already the battery has degraded to the point where it's not practically usable. I use the scale a couple times a day, and within 7 months the battery life has decreased to almost nothing. That wouldnt be an issue if I could leave the scale plugged in, but you cant use the scale when its plugged in. This means that now I have to remember to plug in the scale for a charge 10 min before every time I use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this kitchen scale's sleek minimalist design as I have very little storage space in my kitchen. I have resisted purchasing a kitchen scale for that reason. Many of them come with a weighing bowl or other container, and I don't need that as I have plenty of bowls. What I need is the ability to easily tare a scale, as I do in my profession as a wildlife biologist, so I can use whatever container I care to. Why buy something you don't need?
And this scale is so thin, less than an inch thick, that I can stand it on end in a cabinet without it taking up too much space, which is a huge plus for me!
I also love the fact that it's rechargeable, rather than using disposable batteries as most of the other digital scales I looked at did. I honestly would have preferred an analog scale but I couldn't find any that weren't big and bulky. So I was happy to find this rechargeable one. We need to start considering the garbage we're producing. Why create trash when you don't need to? A rechargeable battery is a huge thumbs up for me!
