[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] very nice so far, i just wish the handle was the traditional style, not built into the top part of the door. i cant grab onto the fridge to open close it normally like on my old one. I am just not used to this style but the see through drawers are nice and it is quiet, nice and quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this refrigerator. I especially like the clear shelves and compartments. Very nice feature. The only complaint I have is the shipping film covering the refrigerator goes under the molding on the freezer door and cannot get the fragments out.

Freezer too warm in cold weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator in November, 2025. It is Garage Ready, but when the temperature drops to under 55, the freezer will only go down to 10 degrees. I put a service call in and the compressor was replaced. It made little difference. Put in another service call, and the system was recharged. The freezer would go down to about 5 degrees when it was 50 in the garage. The temperature in the garage is now 43 degrees, the refrigerator compartment works fine - at 36 degrees, but the freezer fluctuates between 15 and 25 degrees. My 40 year old GE refrigerator stayed at 0 degrees no mater what the garage temperature was. I think the refrigerator would be great for a warmer garage, or a basement, but not for a garage that drops below 55 degrees

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us! We're genuinely sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with your Whirlpool® Refrigerator. We're committed to providing the best support, and we'd love to discuss your experience further and see how we can help. Please feel free to reach out to us through any of the following options: Modern, high-efficiency refrigerators are designed to run longer than older models. Their compressors operate at varying speeds for extended periods to optimize energy and temperature regulation. If you are concerned about your refrigerator running too much, here are key areas to check: Location and Ventilation Ensure the refrigerator is installed indoors, away from heat sources (like an oven or radiator). It should be in a location with an ambient temperature between 55°F (13°C) and 110°F (43°C). Verify there is sufficient space around the sides and top for proper air circulation; do not block the base grille or install behind a cabinet door. Recent Changes The motor will run longer for 24 to 48 hours after initial installation or after adding a large amount of new food/beverages. This is normal until temperatures stabilize. Usage and Settings Limit how frequently the doors are opened, as this causes the internal temperature to rise and the motor to run more often. Confirm that the temperature controls are set correctly, typically at the factory "mid setting." Setting controls too low will increase the run time unnecessarily. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this WHIRLPOOL refrigerator/freezer about a week ago. I was a little worried if it was going to cool and freeze properly, I was getting some concerning readings with my 2 refrigerator/ freezer gauges (one for each) at first for a few days. It seems the temperature reading ranges are more on track now. I passed up on some foreign made refrigerator/freezers, my last one was a WHIRLPOOL.
I would recommend this to a friend!
