Not great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator has a known defective "thermistor and control". The refrigerator is barely able to maintain the maximum temperature of 40F even when all settings are adjusted to colder. I suspect it is using a lot of electricity in the meantime. One month later, the appliance repair company is still waiting for a part that is hard to obtain due to "supply chain" issues. This is unacceptable that Whirlpool is selling a refrigerator with known problems and the part is not readily available. I suspect many people do not monitor the temp in their appliance and have no idea that it is defective. Unacceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Practical and perfect fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my fridge died and this one was a perfect fit. Most of the fancy fridges are humongous and this one fit nicely through my small farmhouse doors. I prefer basic appliances. So many have so many "conveniences" that create higher cost and more opportunities to break. I like low maintenance and practicality. This fridge fits the bill.

1) 2 months of ownership and the repairman is coming out b/c the freezer temp wont go below 17 degrees while the fridge is below 30. Tried multiple settings and nothing worked, hence service coming out.
2) Why, in 2025 would I have to double checking that the freaking freezer comes with a light?? It does NOT. On top of this it is advertised and used as a garage fridge. Of course a garage fridge needs a light in the freezer., My goodness!!!

It's ok I guess

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a new refrigerator ASAP so bought this one because it was small enough to fit in my door. Had it about 2 weeks now and I've noticed I have to turn both the fridge & the freezer on the highest/coldest settings or else ice cream is mushy & cheese "sweats" inside the bins at bottom of fridge. ? I couldn't be picky because I needed a smaller sized fridge so it is what it is I guess. My last Whirlpool lasted 10 years almost to the day so fingers crossed I will get at least 10 years out of this one... but somehow I'm highly doubting that.
