Ive had this smoker since December 2025, and 6 months later, it's giving me problems.... not sure if it's the temp probe or the control board

Good for backyard cooking

I needed a new pellet grill because my old one, a cheap off-brand, barely lasted a year. This KingChii unit looked promising, so I decided to try it out. The assembly was straightforward, and it felt pretty solid once it was all together. I've been using it for about three months now for family cookouts, doing everything from chicken to pork shoulder. The temperature holds well, and it seems like it will hold up over time. Overall solid for everyday use.

Pellet Smoker Temp failed

I've had the pellet smoker since March as a gift. It works well and needs a better cleaning feature for the auger and ash/pellet tray. Unfortunately, yesterday, my smoker was holding at 310 degrees instead of 225, even after waiting for 30 minutes. I powered it down through a shutoff cycle and tried again. No difference. Need to warranty.

Decent smoker for the backyard

I was looking for a new smoker for our backyard, something that wasn't too huge but could still handle enough food. My old one had a tiny hopper and I was always refilling it. This KingChii has a good 18lb hopper which is a big improvement. The PID temperature control seems pretty accruate too, kept things steady for a long slow cook. So far so good, I'll see how it holds up over the summer.

Great grill for backyard

I've always struggled with keeping a steady temperature on my old charcoal grill. It was a pain and meat always came out kinda dry. So I decided to get this pellet smoker after my buddy kept telling me how good his was. Honestly, this thing is a lifesaver. The PID control keeps the temp right where I want it, no more guessing or constant adjustments. My ribs have been coming out juicy every time now. And it's so easy to use for smoking or just grilling burgers. Would definately recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade.

Auger motor gave out after 2 uses

After 2 uses the auger motor stopped working. I've reached out to support and have not heard anything back about getting it fixed.
