The Coast ZXCS16 is a new and very handy 16 port USB “C” charging station that can recharge up to a grouping of 16 Coast’s USB “C” Zithion “AA” and “AAA” size rechargeable batteries. This charging station is great to use in the office or at home as it has 16 individual and permanently dedicated USB “C” male terminal posts that can plug into up to a combination of 16 Coast USB “C” Zithion “AA” and “AAA” size rechargeable batteries at one time. This allows for greater productivity and better logistics especially when you have multiple battery-operated equipment units that need to be recharged simultaneously such as walkie-talkies, flashlights, etc. Plus, it also provides the conservation of the physical charging space needed as well as eliminating the need for multiple standard electrical outlets to recharge up to 16 of these batteries at the same time. This charger only uses one electrical outlet since it has one, 41” electrical line cord with a non-polarized electrical plug to power the entire charger. It should be clearly noted that this charging station has been carefully designed to only work with Coast “AA” and “AAA” size Zithion batteries that have an individual built-in USB “C” port in each battery. All battery charging is done exclusively through the USB “C” port and not through the (+) and (-) terminals which is typically done with other traditional types and brands of rechargeable batteries. When the charging of each battery is complete, each individual battery indicator light will independently turn from a red charging LED (Light Emitting Diode) status into a green LED fully charged status signifying the battery is now fully charged. And lastly, the Coast ZXCS16 charging station now eliminates the need for multiple units of the 120-volt USB “A” power cubes as the charging source to hook up to the various Coast USB “C” power charging cords that came with these batteries. Whenever I use anything 120-volt electrically powered, I always look for a third-party testing organization to ensure personal electrical safety when using the product. I am glad to see that the Coast ZXCS16 charging station has been reviewed and approved by ETL Intertek, a highly recognized independent laboratory, known for its electrical product safety. Their official seal is proof of product compliance to North American safety standards. This Coast charging station is definitely the way to go to efficiently charge a large number of Coast USB “C” Zithion “AA” and “AAA” size rechargeable batteries at the same time!

Using regular disposable batteries has always been a stick in my craw. But every rechargeable failed me. Until now. I’m somewhat a battery geek. I test them with a volt meter to see how they are working. And these have surpassed my expectations. Congratulations on making something good for the planet.

So nice to organize and store my batteries. Always have a charged battery available. Much neater than the 4 plug set up.
