I like this unit for the size, it doesn't cover the top outlet. And that Tripp Lite makes surge protectors just for one outlet. Tripp Lite joules ratings are much higher then other manufactures. What I understand the higher the Joules rating the better the unit.

Great little surge protector when traveling with laptop.

Small, compact surge protector. Does the job protecting my laptop, while traveling on business trips. Small enough to fit in storage pocket of laptop case. Never had an equipment failure due to energy fluctuations or spikes,if the equipment was protected with a Tripp Lite protector and I have and had several over the years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this travelcube specifically for the ease of use and compact size for traveling and it's convenient and quick use in hotels or a friend's house to help protect my devices.
