Great mower! Goes into turbo in tall or thick grass. No disgusting exhaust fumes or fossil fuel spills. Battery lasts about an hour depending on how much it has to be in turbo. Wish I'd bought this mower long ago!

Easy, quiet and well worth it!

So happy that I converted from gas!
So sick and tired of my 2 1/2 year old "pro series" gas mower breaking down vm's literally falling apart... A national, reputable brand mower to say the least. I don't have a yard that puts that kind of strain on it, just the typical central NC red creeping fescue.
So, I converted after an electrician friend said that he's heard nothing but the best out of newer, more powerful battery mowers.
I researched a fair amount and time and time again, Greenworks comes out on top everytime!
With the warranty and highest reviews I could find... I went for it!
I don't have a single regret!!!
The sensor cut can tell when the mower is in thicker grass and kicks the mower speed up to work through those thick patches! I'm so impressed with it!
I am cutting 3/4 acre lot with a slight slope, nothing treacherous. This mower is light and easy to manage!
My only recommendation is that if you're on the fence, do yourself a favor with a lot that 1/2 acre or more.
Get a rapid charger and an extra 5.0 amp hour (or greater) battery! You literally won't be slowed down!
I did opt to use the side discharge on the thicker, deeper areas of the yard... No problems with bogging down or overheating the mower.

I love this mower. It’s plenty powerful and even though I only have a 2AH battery it can mow our 1/8 acre yard with charge to spare!
It’s so much easier and quieter than gas I would not want to go back to gas!

After many years of debating with my wife about gas powered vs. battery powered equipment, I relented and bought a battery powered lawnmower, with little expectations. I was pleasantly surprised and shall I say, converted. The mower works beyond my expectations and was even surprised at the power even in heavy tall grass. Since then, I have purchased a weed trimmer, chainsaw and cultivator.

I have used this about 4 times now and really love it. There's plenty of power to cut thick grass and I found that if you remove the battery from the mower when you are done, charge it and don't store the battery in the charger the charge will last a full hour. For some reason storing the battery in the charge shortens the life of the charge. I love that I don't need to wear headphones because it is so quiet and that there is no gas smell!!!

I like the size and design of this mower. The deck and wheels line up making it easier to mow up against raised beds, etc. It is light-weight but powerful. The only thing I wish it had is sturdier wheels. I use this on our hobby farm both for the lawn and in the pastures to keep ferns and weeds at bay and allow grass to thrive. The battery life is adequate for my small lawn, but having an extra battery is recommended especially if one's lawn gets long between cuts.
