Extremely impressed with this mount

There are a lot of dual monitor desk arms to choose from. What I wanted was one that wasn't gas spring. This one is spring loaded and it works great. It's very adjustable. I had a specific need for a dual monitor setup. I have two 27" monitors with one horizontal and the other vertical and I wanted the horizontal one (the primary monitor) to be centered on my desk with the vertical one to the side. I was a bit concerned about whether this arm would be strong enough to hold both (they both weigh about 17lbs). I was also a bit concerned about whether I could position the monitors exactly where I wanted them. My desk bumps up about 1" from the back wall, so that was a concern as well. But after assembling everything and spending some time adjusting I got everything exactly where I want it and it's fantastic. Removing the monitor stands off my desk frees up a bunch of room and add a nice de-clutter look to my desk.
Assembly was fairly straightforward. The instructions are pretty basic, but it's easy to figure everything out. The base that attaches to the desk is very sturdy and clamps down securely (my desk is about .8" thick). Adding the 2 arms is a breeze, and one thing I really liked about the assembly is that you attach the Vesa mount plates to the back of the monitors independently of the arms and then slide and lock them into the end of the arms. There is a bit of wiggle between the end of the arm and the base plate attachment, but once the monitors are positioned in place it causes no issues.
The tension in the arms is very easy to adjust with the included installation hardware. I simply relieved some of the tension on both arms, got the monitors exactly where I wanted them, then tightened the tension and now they stay put with zero sag. There is outstanding range of motion for positioning the monitors where I needed them. Overall extremely happy with this purchase and glad I chose this product.

This product is great. The construction is very sturdy and the flexibility you have to angle your monitors is fantastic. I have two 27" monitors mounted with this, drilled directly into my desk. My husband has the same monitors, but has it mounted using the clamp option to his desk. Have the two attachment options was great!
The cord management system on the arms is also a small but very practical and really appreciated feature to helping keep the cords tucked away and less visually and physically cluttered, especially for me because the back of my desk faces outwards to the rest of the room.
Packaging was very protective.
Delivery was prompt.
Product quality is great.
Value for the price is fantastic.

If I had to say one 'negative' thing : the screws that came with the product (to attach my monitors) were silver, but the rest of the product is black... why don't they match? ...but that was no biggie because I just reused the screws that came off my original desktop monitor stands.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why do they provide silver screws! - OK, that is the ONLY complaoint I have. It is very tidy, not bulky and works VERY well for my two heavy-ish 200724" monitors (Acer X243W). Has a weight to it that is comforting. Just arrived and was installed in less than 45 min... (including removing the stands from my monitors). VERY happy with this purchase. The only improvements I made *to avoid plastic parts breaking.. was a few thin velco strips to take the stress where the cables enter and exit the cable management channels.. I also used an extra on each of the top arms... just to be even cleaner. Would recommend in a heart beat! inf fact. I just did. Yes the monitor can rotate to portrait or landscape.. and they monitors can be held up and closer to you if desired as well... VERY Happy

Has a flaw

I'm generally pleased with the build quality and design of this product, but there is an issue: there is too much "play" in the tilt of the monitors. This is caused by the quick release feature. You can get the monitors level, but there is no way to lock them in place. Any disturbance could shift the monitors; I will now keep a level at hand. However, I've never had a monitor holder/arm before, so I'm not sure if this is normal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
