Outstanding Speaker system for 2023 and beyond!

I've had this system for about 1 month now I can say with total confidence this system delivers for the price! It looks phenomenal, its sounds even better. Don't hesitate to go for this if it's in your budget and you like the look of the system.

Almost 100% in agreement with the two-year-old review by mhm35, except for a couple of points and one added "con".
Point 1: I find that the bass boost is excessive. So, since there is no EQ or bass adjustment, an EQ in your source is a must.
Point 2: They have never experienced any latency over Bluetooth.
My extra "con" is that you can't adjust the light. This point makes the Soundstick 4s an absolute no-go for late-night listening.
Even with those two hiccups, the Soundstick 4's are well worth the price. Daytime listening with an EQ in your audio source/app is a true pleasure.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Truly amazing in physical & visual performance

I purchased about a month ago for setup in my master bedroom and can’t stay away from using it every chance possible! It’s not only a work of art visually but also breathtaking in its performance and build quality! The Bluetooth connectivity range is unparalleled as my house is 4 stories tall and my phone stays 100% connected with consistent sound quality no matter where I’m at with my phone! I’m so impressed with this system in all facets that I’m considering purchasing another system for my family room area!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Some regressions from SoundSticks 3

These are nice but a total regression from the SoundSticks 3. For one, the right speaker no longer has volume buttons so if you use your speakers with an AUX cable, the sub now has to be ON your desk because that's the device that has the volume buttons. If you put the sub on the floor, the volume buttons are so out of reach.
The other part is that the cables on the speakers to the sub are much shorter than on the SoundSticks 3. Another regression which might also force you to put the sub ON your desk.
The no longer include an aux cable in the box... I would have to use the one that came with my SoundSticks 3 which doesn't match in color. Not a big deal but for almost twice the price and less product. Not good.
If you decide to connect bluetooth to a Mac, be prepared to always have to go into System Preferences to re-connect it every time you restart or wake your Mac. Such an inconvenience. This is the reason why I prefer to have the Mac connected it with an aux cable... but now the sub can't go on the floor because otherwise I'd have to duck under my table to change the volume on it.
The only plus... it's a nicer design.
The LED light on the sub is also super bright so either turn it off at night or cover it? Luckily mine is in my office but if you have your desk in your bedroom, this might be a major annoyance too.
I might just return these. The SoundSticks 3 are a fraction of the price and far more practical anyway.

Beautiful and unique aesthetic

I am into the clean white look. Something with a minimalism vibe, and contemporary look. This unit fits the description. Sound quality is good enough as a desktop unit.
