MagSafe did not work how it was supposed to

MagSafe did not work how it was supposed to, the mag safe charger worked through the case but it did not stick so it kept falling off

No grip

The case is slim in design and sleek on the phone, but there is zero grip. I had a similar case on my prior iPhone and was excited to order a new one. The navy color is lighter than expected — more of a royal blue than a navy. Will be returning.

This is a good case, the MagSafe functionality works well, and the case is protective of the phone for sure. The only thing I personally feel is big change from the old cases is that the plastic is very slippery. It’s easy for it to slide on surfaces and even out if my hand compared to the old cases. Definitely not a deal breaker, just something I liked better in the last versions. Overall a great case.

too slippery when hand held

This is my third OtterBox phone case, with the new case structure adapted to the new iPhone Pro. I have been using the Otterbox Defender because of it excellent protection. However, the side buttons for photos require too much pressure for my aging hands. The Symmetry is much better at one-handed operation as well as more versatile in fitting tight spaces. It was a great surprise to find the new case so slippery that I have already dropped the phone twice in the first few days. The Defender has great traction for the hand and much less likely to slip out of a loose pocket. I see other users have found the same poor traction complaint. It would be a big improvement for us all!

The Symmetry cases have been the best cases since their introduction in the the Otterbox family and this one is no different. Of course they have to modify the styling a bit when the design of the iPhone changes, but the attention to detail and quality of material remain the same. Not too slim and definitely, not to bulky. They just keep getting better and better. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. Third party vendors sometimes sell counterfeits. If you want to be sure it’s from Otterbox, but it from the source. This company truly stands behind their product.

I purchased the 13 Pro Symmetry case because my 12 Pro symmetry was such an amazing case. This years model seems to have "loosened" over time and I can detect my phone moving just slightly while in the case. I read that another customer had a similar experience so I'm glad I'm not going crazy. I'm pretty safe with my phones and make it a habit not to put them in positions where they can slip or fall from my pocket so there is no damage to the case. I believe this is just a manufacturing issue that will be resolved. Since it's within a year, I called customer service to see about a warranty replacement. I spoke w/ Kelly and she was super awesome! Hopefully the replacement one is a bit stronger than the last.
