Nice hub allows everything through one cable

I have used this USB-C to A hub for a while with several devices and have has no issues. I have used it with laptops as well as cell phones and the hub as well as pass-through power work well.
The device comes in a box similar to the size for what a network card would come in. The hub has a one foot cable to connect to your devices. There are ports for 3 USB-A devices and a USB-C port for connecting power. The light on the top indicates when the device is connected.
I have used mice, keyboards and memory sticks with this hub and have had no issues with any of them. It has been very helpful to connect a USB flash drive to my Samsung Galaxy S8 and access the data all while charging the device through the single cable. The USB-C plug and slot both connect securely with a click to prevent them from coming loose easily.
Trouble free operation and stylish product I am happy to keep using. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

Simple easy and works great

If you are looking for a simple and easy to use USB-C to USB-A adapter then this is the product for you. I have been working in the IT industry for many years and with the introduction of USB-C this is a great little adapter to have. It offers USB-C to 3 USB-a adapters. I tested this unit with my Macbook Pro and it works flawlessly. I tried hard drives and thumb drives and all of my items worked without issue. The cabling appears solid and a good length for this kind of adapter. Overall this is a good little product with no real downside.

A great way to incorporate USB C

I received this product in exchange for an impartial review.
To begin with, packaging is a bigger deal to me than many people b/c I buy a lot of things only. I want packaging that protects the product but doesn't leave me dealing with excess boxes or having to use a blow torch to remove the prodct.
This box is virtually identical to the one that I received an internal network card/graphics card in. Despite being small, the packaging is elegant, clean and the products are firmly situated inside of it.
Now, to the product, I have two phones that need USB C cables. I also have two laptops that use C while the desktop that is in the same office as the laptops when I'm home, uses B. The very popular Samsung S8, Note 8 and Google PIxel all use C Cables and the cables require you to use a special plug. You can have the cable without a plug and it's useless. Most C cables that aren't from the manufacturer are very pricey. So using this, you can plug it into your computer and still charge your phone or transfer files. Moreover you can plug it into your computer and get 3 extra USB ports and one C port.
Everything works great. I frequently note that StartTech's products are generally superbly well built. If you have any extra slack in the ports or any connection, over time that will cause problems. However some low end knock offs are too tight and you have to force the items in. This one, lets everything slip in snugly and there's no slack - nothing will slip out unless you are wanting it to but in the same regard, you won't have any trouble inserting things.
This is a great way to give yourself a few USB ports and a C port if you need one. It's very reasonably priced and I'd say you get quite a bit more than you pay for.

USB 3.0 Hub with USB Power Deliver Made Easy

I have been in the technology business for over 35 years and for the past 20+ years I have been asked to provide unbiased reviews of various products from both the AV and IT world. In review of this product I have found that the USB-C 3.0 hub supports USB Power Delivery 2.0, so instead of carrying multiple cables and power adapters, I now use my laptop’s USB-C power adapter to power both my laptop and the hub. By using just a single power adapter instead of two, I have eliminated carrying multiple adapters as I fly frequently, this is a huge space saver.
