Great product. Easy to understand and navigate. Only one issue. Please make the screen where you can increase the size of the workspace. You can increase the font size but the software won’t let you scroll left to right. The only option is to decrease the font size.

Great examples & explanations within HRB software

I received the email back in the Fall 2025 on the 2025 HRB software to download. I have been using HRB software for MANY years and feel very comfortable using the software. The information is easily understood and if any questions the side panels have great explanations for me to make an accurate answer. I really like if I need to talk to a human over the phone or go to one of the HRB locations near me I can.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

My taxes were actually wrong for both the State and the Federal. I also helped my daughter with her taxes and she had to pay more money. I am not sure what to do now for next year since I saved everything in a pdf file to transfer for next year but that will be wrong. I do not think I will use this software again

I’ve always used your software for tax returns so generally pleased with products. This yea I noticed a significant glitch in the Income section when entering info from W2s. For situations where we had more than one source of income (for my wife and I and also for my son), the software somehow changed block 1 of the second W2 entry to match the first W2 entry. It was noticeable immediately since the software recalculation impact was huge. It happened for both our return and my son’s. I was able to correct it but it really shook my confidence in software and I took a lot of extra time to make sure it wasn’t happening elsewhere on each of our returns. I hope your QA/QC does better next year to prevent this bug.

I am a self-employed part-time insurance agent and have used your Basic software successfully for many years. A small part of my home is used as my home office. I have schedule c income and expenses. The greater part of my income is from banking interest earned, social security, and RMD requirements. As I still work part-time, I continue to contribute to my SEP each year. I use the standard deduction as I do not itemize personal expenses. Everything I read indicated that I would not be able to use the Basic or even Deluxe software for 2025; I then concluded I had to change to Premium. I do not want to file my taxes online but prefer to use the software on my computer; also, I have no need to use your software to file my state return as I am already set up with accounts in Louisiana at LaTap. Confusion of what IRS forms available on Basic software, along with use of the Premium software, will make me think twice about future H&R software use.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used H&R tax software for years and it always makes filing easy and accurate. My only complaint is that the help files sometimes aren’t complete.

I was able to get it to work but only with difficulty. Some pages I had to redo several times; and sometimes pages wouldn’t even open, etc. i’ve never had problems like this with HRBlock products before; so I trust that the calculations are accurate. At least the forms went through.
