Issues with undoing or going back & changing selec

I had issues when trying to determine if a scenario applied in many cases related to business or new deductions. When you go forward and make selections & determine they don't apply or are running a future scenario, you can't undo then & this leads to errors on checking. There needs to be a clear scenario button for the current page you are working on. I'd hate to redo my taxes more than once.

Find myself having to decipher the interview questions due to unclear or confusing framing. Almost a disaster happened this year when declaring rental income where the question didn't clarify that only income that is not already reported via form 1099-MISC should be reported. This double counted my rental income and caused me to owe significant additional tax with penalty, which has never happened to me before. Once fixed, I got a significant refund. The mistake could have been avoided if the interview question was more explicit about asking for rental income that has not be reported via form 1099-MISC.

Been using HR Block for many years now. Unfortunately, the usability and helpfulness has gone down in recent years. Linear navigation is fine, but trying to go back to a previous section or sub-section, or trying to find something in particular is a nightmare. The tips and guides are next to useless - they don't provide adequate information, and several items that could have used them had none. I was told I needed to go back and verify/edit part of an actual form, but had zero guidance on how to do so. The checkup at the end said the return "looks good" and is "low risk", but I'm not confident everything's accurate. Fingers crossed I don't get audited.

I have used a couple different tax software and H&R Block is as good if not better that the other. The ease of use and the interview method of assuring that nothing is missed is really good methodology. On top of that it catches errors with the best of them. It's a great tool for beginners up to experienced preparers.
