It works. reasonably logical interview process leads me through the details. Just a few suggestions I would make. (1) I'm 70, my eyes are no longer the best. The font you use is so small, and there is no way to increase it. PLEASE give me a way to increase it ! (2) There is no way to import a K-1 form. It is a complicated form and manual entry is torture; you should be able to scan it and put all the numbers where they belong. Turbo-Tax can do it! (3) You should just automatically calculate estimated tax payments. It is hard to do in your program, and not obvious where. Then have a simple place to find and print them.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Every year I hate doing taxes. This year’s H&R Block Premium REALLY REALLY made me Hate doing taxes. The questions continue to get more confusing and vague. I had to use Chat GPT to help me understand what I was being asked and what my correct answer was.

I'm self-employed and have used H&R Block software for several years. The tax law changes are well covered. Entering applicable data & info is easy and thorough. I e-filed my Federal return which was accepted quickly. I printed my State return and submitted it to my local tax office. The tax software worked well, the hard part was organizing my input data. Overall, done quickly and done well.

Software is not sophisticated enough to handle situations that deviate from the norm. For example dividing different types of income between states, filing city income tax returns, and using treaty US benefits. TurboTax seems to be a somewhat more complete package.
