Virginia prefers electronic transmission. I think you should make this available without additional cost by requiring Virginia pay part of all of the cost. Otherwise, it is easier and a lot less cost for me to print several pages and mail it just mail it in. You could work this out and get the jump on Turbotax and all of the other tax program companies.and competition.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Overall the product works well. Some improvements you should consider: 1. help should be context based...ie, it's easy to know exactly which question is being answered...have the software pull up information on that question when the user selects help button. 2. the price of electronic filing in a State and the cost of adding an additional state is too high and low value. I almost just did the paper filing due to cost.

I have been using H&R Block for 20 years. Generally, very good. For some of the inputs, however, the instructions are not very clear. For example, the software asks me to input some numbers of form 1040 schedule 1. I totally don't understand why. All the data are there, why not automatically inputting the numbers instead of manually inputting the numbers? Some of the data verifications are also weird. I wish for those places, more detailed explanations would be provided in clear language are needed.
