I find it's easier to navigate the program online. Which by doing online program I would have owed less, but it would have been a larger expense to use rather than buying the program and installing it. Should be the other way around when navigating the program.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

There are inaccuracies and confusion abounding. If you need help, good luck! After spending 70$ +, I found “Help Center” limited to a menu of FAQs and AI Help totally useless, ticking button did nothing. Asking for tech help I got a cha with someone arguing with me about if I had actually paid for the program even after I offered the receipt. They terminated the chat! The interviews have a lot of confusing terminology such as was there any capital loss carry forward for this year? It should have just carried the loss forward automatically instead of
Making taxpayers keep a separate report. Figuring Basis for an exchange is really obscure. I had to make corrections 3x. I would NOT rely on HRB deluxe to properly do taxes for Investing, instead, use it for convenience of entry and subscribe to Chat GTP for your tax advisor.

Great that it works with the older windows, only reason we made the switch from turbotax. Hard to figure out how to correct 2 errors because there is no support or explanation. Only figured out one of them by reading a lot online. Never could figure out the second issue but the tax return was accepted.

I have used this software for many years. This year saving my return as a PDF file has been changed and is now difficult whereas it was previously very simple and I found the new method unexpected and annoying.

Honestly not that helpful. I'm not sure what AI features are included, but they didn't deliver as advertised. I had to turn to Google multiple times to get my questions answered. I've been a loyal user for years, but I'm now considering switching. To make matters worse, my federal return was rejected because the software made an error, and I had to go in and fix it manually.
