I was not satisfied with the software this year. I expect to try another brand next year. I had two different situations that the software didn’t have a solution for. Support only told me to follow the prompts, with no other help

I sold a rental property this year and the software was not easy to use. Info did not carry over where I think it should have. You say you will support me but when I was audited two years ago, you did nothing to help.

Program was faulty. No Q&A in Federal return for estimated state income tax payments. Online help was useless and no way to talk to a real person. Had to override form which prevented me from e-filing. Next year I’ll use TurboTax

I bought the premium version because it was supposed to support rental property income. It did not have interview questions that walked through that process and suggesting the correct forms to include. In addition the data checks did not clear once reviewed and acknowledged the were correct. Lastly the suggestions to resolve errors were not complete nor helpful. I have been ustax cut for over 10 years. I am considering changing to another software package with continued decrease in quality of the software.
Cons: Hard to prepare
