Works well, for federal taxes anyway, eventually

Worked well for federal taxes, eventually. I went with Premium software due to rental property and an LLC. All the forms weren't available until April for federal taxes. It wouldn't e-file my state taxes for a 2nd year in a row, due to military pay exclusion. It's a huge pain to print everything and mail it.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve used H&R Block for many years since my wife was a tax preparer for Block for 20 years. For the past two years I have taken my iMac to Florida to do taxes. I tried using the software on my iPad but it just didn’t work. I also do taxes for my two sisters-in-law who live in a different state. The software is really easy to work with. I highly recommend it especially if you have complicated tax issues.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I've been using this program for many years and never have I had so much trouble with this version. I've always had to call just to get the correct answers. There codes where difference then mine. Thank God they were able to help me.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

H&R Block is the only program I have used for the past fifteen years. I’ve never had a problem with the software nor have I had any issues with my returns once submitted to the IRS and my state. The absolute best thing about the program is the ability to download tax information for my investment accounts that I have to report. One last thought is since I’ve been using H&R Block I have not been audited and my returns are somewhat complex.
Pros: Easy to import documents

I am not sure if I did this correctly. I was able to ask for an extension on my Federal Taxes but I live in California and I have a rental in Arizona. So, I think that I need to get an extension for those two states. I have not figured out how to do that with your software yet.

First time ever doing my taxes and did not feel confidant that i got it right. The AI help is useless. I thought i was to get a free review of my input but that became so confusing i just gave up. You would think it would be easy to printout what i inpuut - you know print out all the forms and a summary. Try to do that when using it for the first time. It is a joke

There is a problem with the state and local tax
