EXCELLENT PRODUCT....USED IT FOR OVER 20 YEARS

I have been using this product for over 20 years and never been audited because the software walks you through all the steps with such ease that it literally takes me very little time to process my tax returns. I do three of such returns for three members of my family and it has never stirred me wrong.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

It's better than doing everything by hand but it leaves much to be desired. The product leaves it up to the user to complete certain necessary forms and simply tells the user to consult IRS instructions. Not what I would expect for a product labeled "premium." The lack of adequate advice within the product almost led me to making a substantial error.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was more difficult to navigate. Didn't auto jump to next entry block once I pressed return. I found myself typing errors. Like instead of 1234, it would be 123456 because the second block should have been 456.
Cons: Hard to prepare

I bought block software in February, did the return in an hour and filed in April. I also used the software to see what 2026 tax will be, as my income went up significantly just for 2026. I was a tax preparation EA at block for 19 years. And will continue to use their software. Every year I owe nothing and get nothing back. 2026 will change that unfortunately as I will owe 60k fro the sale of rental property.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I've used several tax preparation software programs. This one is the best. I used TurboTax for many years, but it kept getting worse. The last time, it wouldn't even install. My returns are a bit complicated. I own a part-time business. I own a second home that I rent. The H&R Block software walked me through all of it. One completed, it did a great job of questioning any mistakes I may have made. Both federal and state returns were quickly accepted!
