Completed program with no errors but the IRS would not accept multiple tries. I had to print and mail. I have used TurboTax for years with no problem. I thought I would try HRBlock since I had only 1099s and a Schedule K. I could not get any help from the program.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had carry forward loses from past years and when I tried to file my taxes the program told me the software was not complete for that issue and therefore please wait. Several weeks later I tried again and got the same message. Several more weeks later I tried again and got the same message. Finally last week I was able to submit. Very annoying.

Encountered a minor issue updating the software, but overall worked great. H&R's support to fix issue was quick and very helpful. Easy to use, flexible tool for analyzing our complex finances to complete our return.
Section for estimating quarterly payments for 2026 was confusing.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
