I've been using for years, but seems like the last few years the detail and thoroughness is getting worse. One example is that this year I got flagged for a problem at the end and neither of the questions that I hadn't answered were ever address during the interview. Also the Okla state interview is lacking and instead of providing forms like extimated tax, the program just said, "go to this OKLA website - we don't provide"

Been buying and using both the Federal and State (NJ) for years (decades actually) and I feel comfortable relying on the Q&A and results - except for one thing. That is, that there is not a complete transition from Federal to the State. In the latter there is several occasions where you are to go back to the Federal to pick up a number(s) and then decide if and how you must enter that number or modify it for the State. That's ridiculous. Tell me at least what the Federal number is - and then give me input on whether it needs modification. Yes, they tell you where to get the number but it a total waste of time jumping back and forth.

You charged me 2 times and my son 3 times in my Mastercard altogether 5 times in filing our State income tax return just because of your instruction that we can use any 5 digits number pin number but IRS requires their 6 digits pin # Other than that it’s good.

Impossible to reach a human with a question

The software is relatively easy to use. I purchased the premium product and in the past, I was always able to speak to a person, whether on the phone or via chat, regarding questions that the software didn't answer. This year I was unable to do that. The built in AI tool was just a short step better than a Google search. I found this very disappointing. For this reason, I will probably use a different tool next year.
