Your software doesn't work efficiently on a MAC. The customer has to figure out too many work arounds. I called 3X and every person was very nice but they could not help until I spoke to a supervisor who gave me some hints but that should not be necessary. You are making it too difficult for an MAC user, not the way customers should be treated.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Much better than turbo tax. Will no longer buy turbo anymore as then try to have pay more for add-ones at outrageous prices

I have used this software program for 20 years. It is consistent and very easy to use. It has helped me understand taxes in ways I would have never if I had just hired someone. The only complaint I have is that in the software there is a bug that has existed for the last several years. I have mentioned it but nothing ever got fixed. If you pay self employment tax installments you may run into it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Improvemnents needed on 1099-R and 1099-B inputs
on March 6, 2026

Problems with program correctly processing download info from Ameriprise Financial for 1099-B. Problems with inputs for RMD data, instructions poorly written and confusing and led to input errors. Lack of clear guidance on IRS pin numbers led to IRS rejecting return submission forcing a paper submission
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
