Verified Purchase:Yes
It is very difficult to manually enter all the 1099 forms because of the lack of integration with major financial institutions such as Bank of America, Merril, American express etc.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The program allowed me to complete my taxes with friendly advice that guided me through the process. There were constant updates that kept me informed of changes in rules and regulations as they happened in almost real time.

We’re so happy to hear you had a good experience. We appreciate your business and thank you for the valuable feedback!
I was satisfied with this software. There were only two features that could stand improvement. (1) When you are asked on the federal return to enter your medical expenses, that amount is added to the Medicare contribution s to calculate a total of medical expenses entered on your state return. My state reimburses me for Medicare expenses, so when doing my state return I have to go back to the federal return to subtract the reimbursed amount from my medical expenses in order to be truthful on my state return. It would be better if the state return program asked if I was reimbursed for Medicare expenses. (2) When the state return program asks for the portion of retirement income earned as a state employee, it should be explicit that it wants the dollar amount, not the percentage.
