Mostly Okay

The H and R Block forms were fairly easy to complete. The one major thing I didn't like about using the program is that when it came time to report my QCD (RMD) the form would not take the amounts and the QCD box would not hold a mark. So, when e-filing the form went to the IRS without the information on the QCD.

Confident in the results

I'm happy with the results. I've used H&R Block software and TaxCut for much of this century. I've always got good value.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Too Many Errors!!

I had so much trouble with the software this years. When I tried to put in my 1099-R's. and 1099-INT the program kept putting in the wrong amounts. I called support and they reloaded the program and it still happened. I will not be using this software again. Too Many Errors!!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely the best program version yet, did not have to call HR for help this time around, completely satisfied after many years using H&R. Tax time is never fun, but the right guidance helps.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Something's not right...

Program is indicating HIGH AUDIT REVIEW for three areas which I am not using or are applicable to me. This is a first after many years of use. I tried to delete the schedules and or zero out (the zeros) in the area that providing this error. No luck. Be careful., maybe its time for a change. This only happened after the last update - FYI

Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Getting worse

There are too many issues that need fixing and no explanation. I have used this software for years and it gets worse every year. Time for a change.

Very Disappointed

Switched from Turbo Tax so I could use Windows 10.
1. Navigation not as easy as Turbo tax. I found it awkward.
2. Instructions on QCD was lacking/confusing/insufficient. Needs rework.
3. Federal efile: told me if filed, but it did not. Had to resubmit a day later.
4. Generally, instructions not as clear or easy to follow as TurboTax
5. I will go back to TurboTax next year.
