I need this version for our Personal return and a Trust return. The Personal aoftware is great. The Business Software isn't very smooth, I cannot run it unless I remember to “Run as Administrator” on my Windows laptop. The forms included for filing sometimes are not needed. And, it isnt easily send as efike, I still havent been able to do that.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to prepare

I was unable to download my 1099 information from Merrill using the Premium version. Last year and years past, I needed my login and password for my Merrill account and it worked no problem. This year, you referenced needing a 20-digit number, and there was no 20-digit number to be found. I'm very unhappy that I had to load everything in by hand.

Easy to Use - Just Answer the Questions

I switched to H&R Block Premium & Business in 2023 after being a TurboTax user for more than 10 years. My taxes are a little complicated due to having income from several sources that requires use of several schedules and itemization. I was pleasantly surprised the first year and thereafter with its comprehensive approach and ease of use. This year has been no different. I was able to e-file and pay the balance due (not much thankfully!) and had no issues. I purchased the software earlier in the year at a good discount and was able to download and activate it with no issues.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm running Windows 10 - long story - but every other tax software seems to be Window 11 only. It's much more confusing than it needs to be, because instructions are non-existent &/or misleading. There's a lady robo agent that answers the advice phone number, gives screwy answers & blocks access to human agents. The human agents couldn't find answers to my questions. All around a failure. Even this survey form is janky - it seems every "nickname" has been taken.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
