Its just ok, the biz version fits laptop monitors better (finally). Got a weird error 1st time I tried to load biz premium. Called support. I knew more than the tech. Then Googled like crazy and tried an (old 2024) solution on Reddit. I've came to the product maybe in 2010 . It was called Tax Cut, but only because I needed to prepare the 1120 S. Get rid of those stupid RE income q's if the 1st amswer is NO. You should revamp and modernize the interface. Personal
version is ok as well. Gets the job done. Price works for a small biz. Good thing I have a degree in accounting....

Software incorrectly wanted me to submit Form 56, missed need to submit 8822-B, every year gets Trust 1116 wrong, incorrectly said I should file PA local earned income tax form with Philly when it uses different forms the software didn't even have. Gotten used to fixing software mistakes, but likely giving up after this year.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used the personal H&R block software for years and think it is great! However, the business software is lousy! I had to use it several years ago and thought it was bad then, and it has not improved at all!! It is almost easier to just fill out the forms directly versus using this software. First, the "window" for the questionnaire and forms is ridiculously small with no way to expand it to full screen - why is that?? Then, in many instances, we were unable to advance to the next step and couldn't find out why. The missing information was not obvious, nor was how to fix it, and the tiny green arrow buttons that would take us to the missing form were neither intuitive nor very visible. It took us much longer than necessary to use this software - because of the software - not because of the information we were entering. I think the price of this software is WAY overpriced, it is underdeveloped, not easy to use, and I will not recommend the business software to anyone. The personal software is excellent - why is the business software so much different??

The 1040 software worked great. The program was easy to navigate, very user friendly.
Unfortunately the business software stopped opening and after several phone calls an attempt to fix it still won't open. I was given a full refund.
I hope to use the software again next year and that the business software will work.
