The business part of the software is always not working properly and telling me to close the program because it isn't working right. I keep thinking of changing software programs because of the difficulties.

While a good software package in the past, it is a failure this year because it does not allow for downloads from Merrill Lynch.

This is very good software that I've been using for several years now to do a couple of 1041 trust returns. It works very smoothly. There used to be a bug that affected reporting distributions from Inherited IRA's but they have fixed that.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Terrible interface with little collaboration with external banks or links. Relatively simple return resulted in an IRS review. Overall very difficult and did not fully carry over data from other institutions. Worst software of my life.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Software issues two years in a row. I have used this product for years without issue , now problems for two years straight. Still can't get 2024 to open. Thank goodness we all filed before this bug popped up.
