Being honest, I found the program much more difficult to use than Turbo Tax which is way more user friendly.

I've been using this software for many years because there really aren't any other options. They've never had an interview for the Kentucky business state section, so you're essentially left to fill in the forms yourself. Good thing you paid for software for that. Every year it's been buggy as well. The review finds issues, but won't show you what to do about them. Usually it wants you to open the whole form and figure it out for yourself. When you attach documents to your e-file, it informs you that the files are large and will take a long time to transmit. But then it shows you that the size is 250kB. So it still thinks it's 1995 and we are all using dial up modems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While the Personal Tax program is good, I'm still disappointed in the Business program. I have a Trust for my daughter that should be simple, but wasn't. The Trust is a single account with a single 1099. I think it is time to consider rewriting the Business program by the same people who wrote the Personal Program. I will consider Turbo Tax next year just for that reason.

I bought this program this year after over 20 years of using TurboTax because I would have had to buy a new operating system to use the current version of Turbo Tax. There was a learning curve for this software and it does not handle royalties very smoothly but otherwise is a solid program.
