Good but not much help when not on the internet

I have been using H&R Block Premium & Business Tax Software for 3 years now. There was a learning curve as it was somewhat different than Tax Act or Turbo Tax. As I learn how this package works it gets easier. The software is better every year. I see the improvements in the interview process and forms access.
I would give it a fifth star except I work offline and there are major limits to instructions or help when you are not on the internet.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this software for H&R Taxes and it has performed as always a outstanding product as it always is. Its easy to use just follow the instructions and if you get messed up use the information number and ask someone they have always helped me out. No one else comes close. Thanks to all been using this software for at least 20years + I am sure. And yes will purchase it again next year!!!

Really wanted to like this more...

After years of utilizing an alternative software, I transitioned to H&R as I require comprehensive tracking of numerous charitable donations. The software’s built-in functionality for itemizing donations is highly beneficial and greatly appreciated.
However, the application presents several issues that render it unsuitable for use on MacOS. Notably, the straightforward option of adding a password to a return is not functional for any complexity beyond the default “12345.” (Note, you have to force-quit the application if you try to add a password. Duplicated this on different machines with different MacOS versions.) Surprisingly, contacting support regarding this matter proved unsuccessful, as they were unaware of the password addition feature being included in the application. Additionally, importing a W-2 resulted in the application crashing. The options for downloading 1099s are severely limited compared to other tax preparation applications on the market, as many major financial institutions are not supported. Furthermore, attempting to download a second state return resulted in the application getting stuck in a look asking for additional payments and had to be resolved by support.
While a single issue could be overlooked, the multitude of problems encountered necessitate a serious consideration of alternative options for 2026.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
