Been using H&R Block Tax software for over 10 years. Easy to use, customer friendly, and a good value. Makes complex tax laws usable for the laymen. Sure there is room for improvement though. Do not like downloading. Alternatives?

I am normally very pleased with the software, but this year I could not file my son's tax return because of an error I was getting saying the worksheet needed to calculate business mileage needed an IRS update in order to efile despite the calculation being done correctly and showing on the return. That's absurd. I waited several weeks, called the help line which was no help and ended up preparing the return in Turbo Tax. They didn't have any worksheet error.
