I’ve used this software for years and really appreciate it for my complex taxes. This year the error checker kept telling me to rerun the royalties interview to clear a serious error. The 3rd or 4th time it finally cleared. Taxes all done Jan 17 when the last financial report arrived.

Easy to use

Bought the 2025 basic software. First time using H&R Block. We are retired so our return was relatively straightforward; basically interest income, SSA, pension and IRA distributions. Having said that, I found the software very easy to use. Asked all the appropriate questions. After 3 hours of answering and inputting, I was done. e-Filed the 1040-SR which was also easy. 3 hours after filing I received an email stating 'IRS accepted return'. Note: did not have H&R do the state return.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!
